The Valley of the Saints at Carnoët

The canal from Nantes to Brest

The Abbey of good rest
A sumptuous setting in Central Brittany, on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal. The Cistercian abbey welcomes you for a restorative, cultural and historical stopover in a superb environment. Founded in 1184, between prosperity, crisis and rebirth, the Revolution put an end to it. In 1986, a handful of enthusiasts committed themselves to its restoration. Contemporary art, exhibitions, heritage… let yourself be carried away.
